Obituary for Brian Joseph White

Brian Joseph White was born on May 11, 1979 in Southfield Michigan. He was the only child of Lori Ralko (nee Oliveto) and Norman Charles White.

Brian was an active man who loved the outdoors. He always found an excuse to be outside hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, mud bogging or simply enjoying the fresh air. He even worked that into his chosen profession in landscape. He had an eye for detail and built beautiful retaining walls, patios and landscapes.

A kind and generous man, Brian believed in helping others whenever he was able. It was well known throughout the community that if you needed help, Brian would do whatever he could to aid you.

Brian kept busy with various organizations. He was the President of the Sunrise Side Antique Tractor Club and the Southeastern Michigan Mustang Club. Above all else he loved his family, especially his wife Beth and two sons. He was rarely seen without them. Friends and family knew that they were a package deal.

On January 20, 2019, in Ann Arbor, Michigan Brian passed away at the age of 39 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family. Brian will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him.

Brian was the loving husband of Beth, who he married on May 25, 2012 in Howell, Michigan. Proud father of Matthew and Brian Martin. Beloved son of Lori (Bill) Ralko and Norman Charles (Alicia) White. Cherished grandson of Frank and Virginia Goodrich and Norman and Julianna White. Dear step-brother of Michelle, Jennifer and Jessica Ralko. Dearest son-in-law of David and Patricia Clark and grandson-in-law of Lois (Bob) Clark Mosley. Brian is also survived by faithful canine companion Diesel, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Brian's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail (3 blocks south of Maple Rd.) in Walled Lake. Friends may visit the funeral home beginning at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to Brian's family.
