Obituary for Carole Ann Ramsey

Carole Ann Ramsey of Commerce Township was born July 9, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Edward and Shirlee Elizabeth (nee: Littell) Poloski. She died March 26, 2018 at the age of 78.

Carole is the beloved wife of the late Bill Ramsey (d. 1998). Loving mother of Michele (Billy) Walker, William R. Ramsey and Jeffrey B. Ramsey. Grandmother of Jennifer (Andrew), Robert (Emily), Raymond (Drew) and Rhea (Marty). Also 11 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Richard (Kathy) Poloski. Dear companion of Ken Herrod. Also survived by 1 niece and 8 nephews.

Carole was a member of the Walled Lake Eagles and the American Legion in Wixom. She worked as an assembly worker for Ford Motor Company in Wixom and retired after 25 years of service. Her hobbies included reading, gardening and playing cards, especially euchre. She had many friends, and her sassy, but classy attitude will always be remembered. We are thankful to know that she is resting with the Lord because she had placed her faith and trust in Jesus. She will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 340 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 Blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Thursday 3 PM. Friends may visit Thursday 1 PM until time of service. Memorials to the Michigan School for the Deaf appreciated.
