Emma Ruth Larsh of Wixom was born October 24, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan to Alfred and Mary Hemstreet. She died March 14, 2020 at the age of 100.

Mrs. Larsh is the beloved wife of the late James Larsh (d. 2003). Loving mother of Diana (Richard) Sefcovic and James (Cindy) Larsh. Grandmother of Cheryl, Michael (Judy), JoAnna, Lori (Tim), Steven (Helen) and Dawn (Dennis). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Funeral mass will be held at St. William Catholic Church, however, in adherence to the Interim Guidance for Mass Gatherings and Community Events regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) issued by the CDC, all services for Mrs. Larsh will be limited to her family only. Please keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time and please find other ways to show your support to them such as a phone call or by sending a card or note.

Entombment will take place with her husband James at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Larsh’s memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. William Parish.

Per the family’s request, the services for Mrs. Larsh will be live-streamed on Monday at 10 AM on the following platforms. Please know that should you incur any technical difficulties we will be uploading the funeral to YouTube and Vimeo for viewing at a later date as well.
