Obituary for Florine "Rene" Pulliam
Florine R. Pulliam, better known as Rene to friends and family was born on December 12, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frances and Benjamin Wilson. She passed away on November 1, 2019 in Milford, Michigan at the age of 91.
Rene was a long time Walled Lake resident and member of St .William Catholic Church. She worked at Ex-Cell-0 Corporations, Bryant Computers Division, as a Bookkeeper for many years while raising her family.
In her free time Rene stayed active. She loved to get together with friends for a spirited game of bridge or bus trip to the casino. Above all else, she couldn’t wait to hit the green and enjoy a round of golf or two. She spent summers down south, mainly in Rockport, Texas and Pass Christian, Mississippi and enjoyed playing golf year round. Above all else, Rene was a family woman who loved her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Pulliam was the loving wife of the late Jack. Cherished mother of Tim (Patricia), Tom (Janet) and Chris (Debbie). Proud grandma of Kristen, Michael (Leisa), Danielle (Parker) Beard, Benjamin, Ryan (Amanda) and Jeremy and great-grandma of Lauren, Savannah, Jack, Grayson, Colbie, Isabelle, Aiden and Alexa.
The Pulliam family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November, 4, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail in Walled Lake.
Her life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 10 am, with in state 9:30 am, at St. William Catholic Church, 531 Common St. in Walled Lake.
Rene will be laid to rest with Jack at St. Mary Cemetery in Milford, Michigan.
