Obituary for James Christopher Herrick
James Christopher Herrick age 79 passed away on Saturday April 15, 2017. He is survived by his wife Donna of 46 years, children Michele (Mac), Nichole (Steve), and Heather (Ken). Step sons Marc (Ann Marie) and Tom (Andrea).
Jim has 15 grandchildren including twins and triplets; and 2 great grandchildren. He was employed with Ford Motor Company for 37 years within the Product Development and the Climate Control Departments. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Helen, and his sons James and Scott. He also has several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends waiting for him. Jim was born December 22, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and moved to Detroit at the age of four. Jim attended St. Leo High School in Detroit, Michigan. Jim and his father never missed a Detroit Tigers home game in over 37 years. He loved playing golf, baseball, hockey, pool and bowling.

Funeral mass will be held at St. William Catholic Church, 531 Common St., Walled Lake, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10 am (In State 9:30 am). Friends may visit Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 340 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2pm-9pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
