Obituary for Nancy J. Angott

Nancy J. Angott of West Bloomfield was born July 14, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas Edward and Ruth (nee: Schoenrock) Tracy. She died April 27, 2018 at the age of 78.

Nancy loved her family foremost. Her life revolved around Tom, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dear friends.

Nancy loved her family. Her life revolved around her faith & God, Tom (her husband), her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and her dear friends. She was blessed to have so many people love her. Her smile brightened everyone’s day and her kindness, support and love impacted so many lives; she never had an unkind word.

Nancy had many philanthropic causes that were dear to her including Karmanos, Father Silanus Casey, Patrons of Vatican Saints Museums, and Countryside.

She loved the people of Errol Estates, in good times and bad. Our God let her live to hear the council approval of the New Errol. She was so happy.

Nancy had a special love for her brother, Dick. They spent many nights together playing games laughing like kids.

One of the many passions Nancy had was her love for golf. She had so many happy times on the golf course with those she loved most. She was known as “The Blade” for her incredible putting skills. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, gin rummy and scrabble.

Nancy loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart. She loved talking to them about life, faith, sports, school, their careers and lives. She was so proud.

She loved her Misty, her faithful canine companion. She often said that Misty helped her through Tom’s passing. Her love knew no limits.

One of Nancy’s special gifts was showing her love to anyone who needed it by baking. Her Christmas cookies, fudge, sugar cookies, pies and molasses cookies were beyond compare. Whether it was celebrating a birthday, anniversary, holiday or just because we needed a smile, Nancy’s kindness and treats always left us with a smile in good times and bad.

Nancy lived life to the fullest and taught all of us how to truly love God, family, friends and those most in need. She touched so many lives, impacted everyone she met, and cherished each day her Lord gave her with all of us. She lived her faith on a daily basis by teaching us how to give freely, how to love without limits, and how to forgive instantly.

Mrs. Angott is the beloved wife of the late Thomas V. Angott (d. 2008). Loving mother of Nanette (Dr. Michael) Beer, Joe Telmos, Cindi Telmos, Reneé Blackburn, Michael Angott, Dr. Patrick (Christina) Angott, Nancy Jo (John) Thornburgh, Dean (Esmeralda) Angott, Carol (Robert)Carabelli, Christopher (Betsy) Angott, Thomas (Theresa) Angott II, and Mary Jane (David) Schafer.
