Obituary for Scott Alan Mann

Scott Alan Mann of West Bloomfield was born April 5, 1978 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Donald Wallace and Geraldine Nancy Mann. He died unexpectedly on March 12, 2020 at the age of 41.

Scott is the beloved father of Landon and Lacey. Loving brother of Tracy Hoover, Debbie (Dana Lampert) Hoover, Lisa (Philip) Hengesbach, Robert (Tanya) Zimerman, Emily Mann, and Joel Mann. Caring uncle to William, Claire, Avery, Shannon, Sam, Maddie, Alex, Nate, Cam, Aaron, Samantha, and Prylynn. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Mark and Bruce. He is survived by his love and partner Christine Baker.

Scott was a amazing dad, and his whole world was his kids. He and the kids loved playing nerf wars, building forts. and the tickles before bed. Scott had an affinity with all children that was truly endearing. Scott had a huge heart and was always the first person to help when asked. He was willing to jump in and lend a hand if he could, tell a goofy joke, or do what he could to make you laugh and smile. He was a great storyteller and loved to debate with anyone about anything. He loved U of M football, the Detroit Tigers, and gaming on his PlayStation. He also loved to play a good prank, or be pranked. Scott unfortunately found it easier to help others, than to help himself.

Like everyone, Scott had his demons, but he continued to battle them to the end.

We will laugh and forever remember the "You're Toast" prank, and your love of licorice.
We Love You Oatmeal!

Memorial contributions in Scott’s memory may be made to his children.

Funeral arrangements have been made, but due to the virus it will be immediate family only. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date.
