Thomas Henry Mussen, 63 of Milford, left this earth for Heaven on February 9th 2021.
Tom was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Roy and Florence Mussen on December 13th 1957.
He graduated from Walled Lake Western in Walled Lake, Michigan in 1976. Tom had a great love for sports in which he shared with those around him. He enjoyed Saturday Michigan football games as well as every game in between.
In 1980, Tom met and fell in love with Elizabeth Jean (Koerber). The two were married at Walled Lake Methodist church on May 14th 1983.
Thomas is loved and survived by his loving wife of thirty seven years, Liz. His children Mellisa (Brian Garcia), Sara, and son Brian (Samantha) ; His brother Don (Barb) Mussen and sister Cheryl Stamper. Proud papa to his grandchildren Jacob, Gage, Cameron, Anna, Marleigh and Brady. As well as many extended brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and great friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Florence (Darr) Mussen. His sisters Laura and Mary. And recently his sweet buddy, Ralph the yellow lab.
Tom spent the last ten years of his life enjoying living on Sears Lake in Milford, Michigan. Fishing, bon fires, boat rides and friendships were among some of the things Sears Lake brought him.
Tom will be remembered by those who loved him as a gentle, kind man. His memories of love and laughter will always be cherished among those who loved him.
Friends may visit Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 340 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 Blks. South of Maple Rd.) Friday 1-8 PM. Due to current occupancy restrictions due to the Covid-19 virus, there may be a wait time for entry into the funeral home. Funeral services will be for the family only on Saturday at 11 AM, but will be live streamed to the public. Anyone who would like to proceed to Commerce Memorial Cemetery in procession for a public outdoor committal service is invited to assemble at the funeral home beginning at 11:30 AM.
