Obituary for Tim McGrath

Timothy Patrick McGrath was born on June 2, 1960 in Garden City, Michigan. He was the second of six children of Jim and Dorothy McGrath. Tim passed away on March 16, 2019 in Walled Lake, Michigan at the age of 58.

An avid golfer, Tim loved to be outside on the golf course. He was also known among his family and friends as a Corn Hole expert. A man of many talents, Tim had a talent for woodworking and tackling DIY projects around the house. Above all else he was a loving and caring family man and friend who will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him.

Tim was the loving husband of Beth McGrath for 27 years. Proud father of Michael, Jack and Erin McGrath. Cherished son of Jim and Dorothy McGrath. Dear brother of Mike (Cindy) McGrath, Shawn (Lisa) McGrath, Tom (Serene) McGrath, Pat (Tiffany) McGrath and Katherine (Ed) Oles. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The McGrath family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 21, 2019 form 3-8 pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail (3 blocks south of Maple Rd) in Walled Lake.

His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11 am, with in state 10:30 am, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd. (at Union Lake Rd.) in White Lake.
